Does anyone know the value of this Hummel?

I inherited this Hummel figure of a drummer from my Grandmother and I was wondering what the value might be?

It does have a broken drumstick in his hand. Other than that it is in perfect condition. The bottom of it has "Drummer" AHIJ on it.

first visit www.photobucket.com (when chosing the option of how to include your photobucket photo, select the 3rd option down..this will place the actual photo in the posting, not just the URL)

Keep in mind, though, than in this, as in most cases, damage significantly lowers the value of an item.

A half tester is a bed that just has the canopy over the head half of the bed, a full tester had the canopy over the whole bed. I have never heard nor seen one made of brass. Linda C Here is a link that might be useful:

Any bottle, collectable or not is worth more with the packaging and the contents intact. Today's bottle of Jim Beam is worth more filled than empty....just as a 200 year old bottle of Dr. Whetmore's bitters is worth more unopened than empty. However....with some bottles ( like the afore mentioned Jim Beam) the contents are worth more than the bottle. Linda C

I only see one chair. From the general style, it's one of the elaborate "Revival" chairs of the 1920s and 30s ... Jacobean Revival, Tudor Revival, Renaissance revival. Most of them were elaborately decorated mass-market pieces that used the decorative bits from the period they were reviving without much thought as to whether they fit or not. Your chair, for example, has the Rococo era C-shaped scrolling from one style and the twisted "barley sugar" spindles from another era and country. If they are sturdy, they are worth cleaning and reupholstering.

There are many many sites that will talk about the value of Hummel figurines.
Unless your figure says Gobel, Germany and has Sister Berta Hummel's mark as well, it's not a Hummel.
Google Hummel Values, there is lots of information.

Not to be a crank, but a broken drumstick lowers the value. It's not in perfect condition, it's damaged.

If it's Hummel's, the "Little Drummer" and not a knockoff, it should have the number 240 impressed on the bottom. There's lots of information on the web on #240 - appears on Ebay as well so you can see what people are willing to pay.

And, yes, a broken drumstick will definitely hurt the price so it might have it's highest value in simply being a keepsake from your Grandmother.
