DIY Builders - Can I See Your Spreadsheets?

Almost done getting all bids in. Starting to make the spreadsheet for the bank. I need something to double-check my work against - more like a list of everything needed for a new construction home. I am pretty sure we have everything accounted for, but can anyone share their spreadsheet so that I can double-check my list to make sure I have accounted for everything? (you can take your numbers out that's fine)

The bank should have a standardized form they can give you in advance to fill
out . It has everything on it and also has extra lines for anything not listed .
One thing that never gets accounted for is all the little things like nails , screws,
misc lumber , floor protection , cleaning supplies etc . I could not believe how these things really added up to quite a bit of $ . Especially if you are building a fairly large home . If I ever build again - I will add in 5% for these items . If you will be doing work during any cold weather , you may also want to consider supplemental heating costs . My guys are going through 20.00 per day in kerosene right now . Good luck .

Not sure how detailed you need it to be. I'd recommend a Notice of Furnishing from a bank or title company.

Igloo gorgeous doors! What kind of wood? Maybe they aren't cracked because of the thickness and kind of wood? I dunno. It's hard to believe they would so strongly warn against it and then here you are with doors that old, full exposure and no cracks! Maybe the doors that are made today are made differently and can't handle the elements?? Maybe what I should to is buy a reclaimed door from a salvage yard! I love the double set of door design. Very clever having the solid wood exterior that can be left open to reveal the half glass interior doors. LOVE IT!

I wanted to see a Majestic Plum PebbleTec pool and my pool company had never done one in that color before (I live in Atlanta and folks all tend to be very conservative here and go with the same few colors; they'd done hundreds of pools, but never one in this color). So they called PebbleTec corporate, and PebbleTec corporate helped them find a pool that ANOTHER pool company had done in this color. Those folks were more than happy to help me arrange to see this pool.

My bank provided a spreadsheet to me. If you're not to a point that you've secured your financing yet, you can still stop in and ask them for their form. At my bank, it's called a Draw Request. Also, my bank emailed mine to me, so everything is electronic, and we get out money very quickly (sometimes next day) after I email the request. I'd post it, but I can't figure out how.
