I'm not sure if they still sell it but I know Salon Selectives used to have one, I think it was called Air it out and if I remember right it was a greenish or a blueish color? It probably does have alcohol in it though. I did buy it once and really liked it because it had a nice smell but I don't remember it drying my hair out any because I really didn't need to spray too much on. Just a few squirts and a quick brushing made my hair smell great and I am a smoker so I know how it can get in your hair. Now I just use a few sprays of perfume or some type of body spray or even a leave in conditioner or detangler and brush through if I want to freshen up my hair. Of course nothing freshens hair up like a good shampooing! I shower and wash my hair daily sometimes twice a day (especially in the summer!) so its not too much of a problem for me but sometimes, especially after getting out the car that I or someone was smoking in, I can just tell if someone will be close enough to be smelling my hair I need to do something about it! Sorry I probably wasn't much help! I hope you find something that works well for you and please let me know if you do or if you find the Salon Selectives one it may be worth a try.

Hoboken--Conditioner in the face doesn't sound very good. I agree that '12 seemed like a rough year for many. I cannot even begin to imagine what the parents of the Sandy Hook children are feeling. Having a child diagnosed with cancer has to be extremely frightening. Those types of horrible events are not supposed to happen. Does your DS2 need any other treatment for his cancer after the surgery and positive CAT scan results? I'm sending a prayer your way! And you had me rolling with laughter over the dog incident! Smaloney--I appreciate the good wishes. I'm hoping in 6.5 years the holidays aren't as hard. Taggie--LOL on the floor cleaner camouflaging the etches! The etches don't really bother me. It is what it is, as my DH is so fond of saying. Bee--I know you know how I felt. Your continued kind wishes touch me. :) Deedles--Being without both parents for the holidays, or any day really, must feel lonely, I imagine. As much as I have issues with my Mom's issues, at least she's still here with me. And yes, the parent of the Sandy Hook kids are the ones that are truly having the worst holidays. Like I said above, I can't even begin to image the heart break they must feel. My holidays were definitely better than that. Lalitha--DD started preschool this week so I really can get a little r&r on occasion now! Oldbat--I'm lucky to have the new (used) ipad, but even luckier to have such beautiful, smart, healthy, loving, special kids.

Always... wonder if the new stylist got mixed up. She doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb, evidenced by telling you the payment arrangement, whatever it should be - that is not at all cool. Maybe there are some stylists who charge more than your old stylist and were asked to do her clients for the lower price. I've never heard of such a thing as charging more than someone usually charges and can't think of any rationale for it. I guess to try to keep the clients from migrating to the cheaper stylists after your regular returns, as someone mentioned. But, boy, she needs to learn to keep her mouth clamped shut! Artemis, that is so strange. You'd think she would have contacted all her clients to let them know where she is. It takes a long time to build a good clientele. I wonder if she decided to get out of the business?

I actually skipped washing my hair yesterday morning. It looked terrible, but the good thing is I work from home. I ordered terriks bar soap and conditioner. Terriks, what do you keep them in? I'm also going to order the Keratase in travel size. I want to find something I like, but a part of me is hoping I don't like the Keratase, because of the price. I already bought Dove Oxygen Moisture based on a recommendation by the Paula's Choice staff. I started using it in the winter when my hair was starting to seem more thin. Once summer hit and the frizzies started, I put it away until next winter. I'll have to see what the difference is between it and Dove Daily Moisture. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!
