I've been going crazy trying to find a light floral scent that doesn't seem to bother people when you are in a crowd. Some perfumes seem to have an undertone that can be really irritating to some people's sinuses. Any suggestions of things to look for...Thanks

The one linked below is very light and fresh smelling. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it...including from complete strangers.

weed, I have yet to try yours but intend to eventually.
One floral perfume I used to wear years ago is Anais Anais from Cacharel, it's very soft and not overpowering. L'Air du Temps de Nina Ricci is also a classic soft scent...

My Sheila's Perfume took more than a year to do well, but it has finally come into its own (I'm out of your zone). Unfortunately, if you don't want to spray against blackspot, I wouldn't recommend it. Sounds like you could use recommendations for a blackspot resistant, shade tolerant variety of a similar color.

What they said. Mine never showed any yellow in the buds. Of all the sources, Week's has been the most careful and reliable "big boys" producer IMHO. But, being a J&P rose, it is completely possible they received garbage from them. Mis named stock was a regular occurrence with J&P even before the deadly buy-out. Kim

Thanks for the reply. I kept on trying with different approaches, but none of my attempts had lead to rooting. With regards to medium, I tried different mixes of vermiculite, perlite and potting soil. Tried two different kinds of rooting hormones. Tried different lengths of cuttings. (What length do you use?) Tried to remove some of the leaves. Tried with and without bottom heat and different levels of natural sunlight - I even tried artificial plant lighting! What happens is that the cuttings quickly drop most of the leafs and slowly turns brown from the bottom. I keep the cuttings in a humid box. As you perhaps can tell - I'm terribly frustrated. However, just as stubbarn. So, could you perhaps post a picture of your setup? Maybe that'll inspire me towards a succesfull process. Best regards, A

I had the same situation with a dresser. Nothing I wiped it out with worked. So I got a couple odor absorbing tubs, placed them in the empty drawers and every few days I'd rotate them to a different drawer. I left all the drawers cracked open maybe 3" - 4" because the odor absorbers work better with some air circulation. It took a few weeks but it did get the perfume smell out. I use odor absorbers in rentals between tenants so have tried several brands. (Note: these aren't air fresheners that mask odors, they actually do absorb them.) Natural Magic is my preferred brand and what I used in my dresser. And I use the gel form, not a fan of the beads. Citrus Magic brand is also good. Avoid dollar store brands, they are a bit less expensive but don't work as well in my experience.

Weed, I ordered Heart,, hope I like it, didn't know they have a sample pack. Also like Miracle body mist by Lancome, and love the new Blue by Lauren, but it's so light it's gone in an hour.

Dragonfly, I caved and bought the scented Blue lotion. I don't often find scents I like, and I just love it. During the time I was testing it, I got 6 spray samples. Then when I bought the lotion/perfume combo I got a small sample bottle. I'm going to sell them on eBay to help underwrite the cost ;) Seriously - these things sell!

If you end up not liking Heart, email me and I'll buy what's left. Even when I have other scents around, I still use Heart regularly.

I love Heart also. Ohhh how I miss Love's Musky Jazmin scent... even trusty e-bay doesn't have it.

Nelson/bach and Aura Cacia both make essential oils that I LOVE...and I have noticed that natural scents are much less likely to freak out the sensitive (mints and the heavy florals like rose and jasmin seem to be exceptions- some people are specifically allergic to roses, and nothing else, it seems)

Hove perfumier in New Orleans also makes wonderful blends and single-note fragrances that come both in cologne form and in a solid (beeswax and jojoba) that lasts FOREVER on my skin.

You might try Lancome's Tresor. It has a base of peach tones.
