What style of shoes do you think look best worn with leggings????

This a really young look, isn't it? I checked out what Bloomingdale, Nordstrom, and Urban Outfitters paired with leggings on their sites. It's anything at all from short ballet slipper flats, wedges, high heels, to ankle boots.

Ok, I figured out my legs today- thanks everyone for the input! All legs, no columns and varying styles and sizes. Lindamarie- thanks for the feedback on layout. What you describe is actually my current layout :-) It's functional, but I dont like it for several reasons - not the least of which is it makes the non-recessed 22 year old fridge the focal point of my kitchen since my kitchen opens up to the FR on the other end. In the new layout the fridge is a little odd tucked away in the wall where its a row of doors today but it allows me to have a flush full size fridge, almost double the over the sink window size, and make a focal point of the range. It's a trade off. The W/D is a huge PITA. They will be stacked behind cabinet doors (today they are in kitchen not stacked behind two regular doors). If I had anywhere else to put them, I would. But I dont. We fully finished the basement with a too-small storage room that is packed, and there is just no where else to go. I've even considered putting them in my master bedroom closet! So it's not ideal but I'm sort of stuck with it. My friend and neighbor has my exact house and she just redid everything in this exact layout (totally different style) so at I have been able to preview what I am going to end up with, which is a big advantage and possible the only advvantage to cookie cutter homes! But again, I agree your layout and my current one is probably better with landing spaces etc, but with my FR the way is it, I wanted to change it up.

Leg B was at 240V relative to what? What type of receptacle are you using? "Three prong" covers a lot of receptacle/plug types. Perhaps comparison to the chart at http://www.stayonline.com/reference-nema-straight-blade.aspx will help identify it. Ideally, dryers are wired to four-wire systems, two hot conductors, the neutral conductor, and the grounding conductor. The neutrals are grounded only at the breaker box. Older dryers used three conductor systems, two hot and one neutral conductors. The chassis should be separately grounded in such cases. I can imagine, however, a design intended to operate purely from 240 Vac and having two hot conductors and a grounding conductor. Does the non-hot lead of the cable to the dryer have a low or high resistance to the dryer chassis? Another possible consideration is that military electrical wiring, particularly in field conditions (even as mature as those at Kuwait, for example) are notorious for being poorly wired, even sometimes leading to electrocutions. Is it possible that your dryer wiring was modified in the field to conform with whatever power source configuration was present? kas The Electrical Wiring forum may be better tailored to your question than the Laundry forum.

The table and chairs look as if they were designed to go together. If you like the table with its glass top, go for it. LVP installation between cabinet legs?

If you are going to install toe kicks, just run the LVP to the cabinetry legs and stop. No need to do extra work. With a toe kick in place, it will look fine. The heat vent will need to be turned and brought out to a grille in the future toe kick.

Are y'all talking about the bulky knitted things that are worn over a pair of pants, or the thin knitted pants that look like leotards?

I used to love the leotard-looking things, but it was hard to find oversized sweaters to go with them, & I didn't like the way they looked with shorter tops.

& it doesn't get cold enough here to wear extra layers over your pants!

I like leggings worn with a long loose top that covers the butt. Can't stand them on anyone with a short top. Extremely obese people should probably avoid them. And please no beige leggings on anyone unless you are a figure skater wearing them under your skirt in place of tights.

I think they look cute on the junior figure with a short skirt. Flat shoes only please. I can't stand the high heeled streetwalker look with leggings.

Sylvia those bulky knitted things you are thinkng of are called leg warmers.

Definitely flats. I agree with Wildchild that the only attractive way to wear leggings is with a short skirt (or a long but not too baggy top, even though that screams 1980s, but we're talking about wearing leggings here, sooo,) and some flats, as long as the person is slender. WAAAAAY too many large people wear leggings as pants, with too short of a top and it just looks horrible.

You won't catch me in leggings though, slender or not! Heck I never even wore them as a teen in the 1980s. The closest thing to those that I did wear is *cough* stirrup pants.

Not a fan of leggings... at all. But recently saw in The Gap 'new' button-down shirts, pretty long... (And by 'new', I mean, a modernized version of something you've already got...) definitely look like they'd cover the derriere.
