I didn't read the whole thread because it's very long but I wanted to tell you about my experience. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I thought Ebay was a good idea... Or maybe it was Amazon, I can't remember. Anyways, I bought the Premium but it turns out that it was pointless the "kit" I bought wasn't a whole kit, it didn't have as many strips as the full kit has. And THAT is why Premium costs more, I spent more money on something that was the exact same as the regular kit. Also, they sent them out of the box to "save me money on shipping" and so, there was no expiration date. I used them, they made no difference, didn't even burn like they did when I bought them the last time but from a store and I couldn't prove they were old because they no doubt lied about the expiration date. Be careful with your money. The ones I bought from the store actually did work though and they worked well. They didn't burn as much as the trays do.

Baking soda/peroxide~make a paste. Do a treatment every night for the first month. After that, once a week since it *is* hard on the enamel. Advice was given to me by my dentist who did bone graft surgical procedure/dental implants on me several years ago. Not only does it whiten the teeth, but helps with the ph balance of bacteria, good/bad. Also get a hydrofloss! Mine was given to me by him(probably since I was spending buku bucks!) You'll only need to do 'on the spot' flossing if you get something in your teeth while eating!! You can use it every night, sometimes i'll add a little mouthwash. It's a fairly intense spray if you have it turned up all the way. Any loose crowns WILL come out, so do be aware and maybe have the drain closed. Thanks, Marcopolo5. I have a three-tooth bridge (right front tooth and back). All my lower front teeth are 'mine'. Orthodontist pulled my four 'corners' in the old, dark days when they did that sort of thing. (Consequence being teeth tilting as I age.) I also have three of my four wisdom teeth. (Fourth never came through and is not visible on X-ray.) Then there are the gold inlays, onlays, etc. I've been a 'gold mine' for dentists over my almost-75 years, but I can still *chew*. I see two 'brands' mentioned here: Crest and Plus White. May I presume to ask further free advice about what to try?

Have you discussed teeth whitening with your dentist? A good option is to have custom whitening trays made by your dentist and then to purchase the bleach to apply to the trays. You have many choices on when/how to wear the trays. A big benefit is that once you have the trays you can whiten a couple of times per year, usually after your cleaning appointments. I am currently whitening my teeth and it only takes a few nights of wearing the trays to see dramatic improvement. I am a dental hygienist and have seen every option available. The custom trays are the best, IMO.
