My skin tends to get a bit oily, so the products I use wouldn't be of much help. (Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse or L'oreal True Match) However - most companies make formulations for different skin types. L'oreal now has a line targeted for 40-something, 50-something, and 60-something. I was in the local drug store recently, and the cosmetics manager gave me some samples - of the 60-something moisturizer! I'm 41. Poor dear. She must have been all of 20 so to her, everyone looks older. I tried the moisturizer and it was a bit too heavy for me, so it might work very well for dryer skin. I know you're looking for foundation, and they also make a foundation for the same age-category. And a couple of people mentioned that the really expensive, department store cosmetics are a waste of money. I used to work for Estee Lauder, and know for a fact that many of their products were manufactured by exactly the same factories, using exactly the same ingredients (with the possible exception of some added fragrance) as the drug store brands. You're paying for the fancy glass bottles and extra packaging. (at least this was a number of years ago. I kind of think things are still pretty much the same) I work as an actress, and they really do use Max Factor drug-store makeup on film sets. After all, Max Factor invented makeup for use in the film industry, including the first waterproof mascara. The stuff just works! Good luck to you.

I think most all lotions are ok, but get your skin wet before you apply what you use. It is moisture your skin lacks not oils and lotions...the lotion will lock in the moisture. Lotions can make the dryness worse without the moisture applied first. You should avoid fragrances, urea, lactic acid and ammonium lactate in your lotions. My SIL's allergist said "women would have less skin problems if they used Moisterlle". Not sure of the spelling on that. My sis's doc recommended Aveeno products. Also if you use oils in your bath get wet first then put the oil in the tub.

All the eye creams I've used have been light, and meant to be used all the time, as is facial moisturizer. Remember to apply lightly with your ring finger. For circles under the eyes, the most basic things are to get enough sleep, drink enough water, reduce stress, etc. Cucumber slices and cold tea bags are also rumored to help. I Googled "under eye lightener" and found a bunch of products that claim to do this. If you ever find one that works well, please post it. I only went to Seville for a day, so I probably missed as much as i saw. Hit the usual sights -- Plaza de Espana (where Lawrence of arabia was filmed), Plaza d'Toros, the Alcazar and the Cathedral of Seville (as opposed to the Barber) to visit the grave of Christopher Columbus. We ate Spanish tortillas while sitting on a wall. Lots of cute winding streets and shops to explore. Madrid is gorgeous. I loved the area called Bario des las Letres. Lots of good casual restaurants. We ate tapas at one called Lateral and the food was great. Order Summer Wine if the others don't want to share a pitcher of sangria. Everyone -- all ages -- were out and about until well into the evening. Hard to find a restaurant that opens before 8:30. Go visit the turtles in the train station. The Metro is easy to use and clean. The Prado is overwhelming. I enjoyed the Sofia Reina which has Guernica and other modern art. Best of all were the small towns. Ronda was beyond gorgeous and so interesting. Now -- back to product recommendations! I recommend packing cubes ! They are the best for keeping your clothes organized when traveling.
