DCS Owners - Tell me what you think!

So I'm in the market for a new 48" range. I've made a massive list of features and preferences and of course no one range meets all of my criteria.

I have to say though, the DCS comes close. My only concern is the distribution of the heat under the pan.

I've read all the open burner/closed burner posts here... I get it.

But I want to hear from people who actually OWN (or owned) a DCS range or stovetop and what they think.

-- Do you have problems with the flames going up the side of your pans?

-- Do you feel the heat on the bottom of your pans is uneven (If you're on this forum I assume you have pretty heavy cookware -- All-clad, Calphalon, cast iron, etc.)

-- How does it compare to what you had before or have in another home?

-- Do you have the griddle? The grill? How do they work? What do you think?

Bottom line, tell why I should, or should not, purchase a DCS range.

(Oh. Extra credit if you have the 5 burner with the extra-wide griddle.)
