One tip as you look into these doors...check carefully into the hinges. A friend had some installed from a very nice cabinet line, and she has had nothing but problems with the hinges. They are supposed to be soft-close, but the soft-close feature on several of them has failed. This means the doors slam down on occasion. It also means that she has twice had to have the glass replaced on her doors when it broke after the door slammed shut. It also means she got a nasty bump on the head once when a door slammed shut on her. It doesn't seem that the people here who have these doors have had hinge problems, so you may want to find out about the brands they have. I'll try to find out the hinge brand my friend has so you can avoid those.

Im not quite sure what you mean by flip up, your talking about the hem themselves how they fold up while wearing them? If so, I DESPISE THAT TOO! I havent found a way to sew them so they dont do that but I make sure when I put my jeans in the dryer the hem is not already rolled up because the dryer sets it like that, you could always iorn if its persistant, otherwise I wash my jeans inside out regaurdless to prevent it fading the wash & whiskering. As far as distressing them, go to your kitchen & grab the box grater, or a handheld one works too & just rub the denim along that, you can make little rips, big worn in areas, & even those big rips they seem to be selling jeans with them on the thighs & over pockets.

Erika, if you have wireless, just get a Roku. You can watch Netflix, Amazon, and other stations without paying extra for cable service or having to have cable wired. There's also the Amazon Fire TV stick, and both Google and Apple have some kind of wireless TV receptors, too. But I'm only familiar with the Roku. I highly recommend it. We only have cable to the living room and Rokus on all other TVs. If DH wasn't addicted to news and sports, we'd only have Rokus at all TVs, if I had my way. :)
