The video doesn't really show me much of the leaves. My first thought was "ash" thanks to the tree's shape but who really knows. What I have been reminded to keep in context is how LONG the heavy winds continue. Over the last decade I have seen stronger downbursts and straight line winds but not for hours and not after that much rain. Interesting to see which trees uproot vs break apart. Ilovemytrees, when you mention NY I picture trees planted in tighter spaces on older property. Wonder how many pulled up "soil squares" like we see in older parts of st louis sometimes.

I am desperately looking for a few good people to give me some quotes for a complete replacement HVAC system in Newport News, VA. I am having no luck at all with the people that have made it out so far. They are in and out so quick, most not even looking at the ductwork, and NONE doing any actual load calcs at all. I just never get a good feeling from any of them yet. PLEASE HELP! I am looking for someone that will 1) Do the proper calcs (manual J, S, and D) to find out what work I truely need done with no guessing games, 2) provide fair pricing, and 3) have been doing this for a long time. I dont think thats too much to ask right :) . So again, please, if anyone reads this and works my area, please reply on this thread or email at: ndisgii@verizon.net . I havent had a functioning system for over 2 months now, and its beginning to get quite cold outside...lol...oh and I am trying to get it done by month end so I can claim the tax credits in the next few months instead of a year from now. Thank you so much for your time!

At the risk of inciting another diatribe, I’ll say we’re very satisfied with our 13 yr old LG set. Washer is non-agitator top loader, dryer is front loader. My cleaning lady (me) says they have worked great in two houses now. No issues. I’m definitely a spammer, though. My real name is Elvis Johnson, and if you‘ll please do so private message me I for one have a inheritance you certainly won as a young child and can now claim at your earlier conveyance. I thank you kindly for your utmost attention to this matter and wish you happy washing machine day.

I was my mom's ironer -- when I was young I loved the immediate transformation. I loved taking the time to get it just right. Now? not so much. I still love the result but I don't find the process all that zen or satisfying. I never thought of sending pieces out for just a press. I have a service that will pick up my dry cleaning-- haven't used it since pre-covid but you've sparked me to see if they'll provide the same service for pressing. I like the chico dress but I suspect I need something with a little more shape. I like this one from tuckernuck a little more for my shape (they just emailed me about it this am) .. but I am on a spending pause and I don't need it. :(
