I would personally do something like the calcutta countertop. I love the look of contrast in a space. My DH and I just redid our powder room and we did a dark espresso vanity with a with a white marble top. Although it depends on the other elements of your room as well. A darker countertop can look good too, but i tend to prefer the contrast of light and dark.

You can get a milk frother for about $15 or $20 at local cooking/grocery stores, or $2 at Ikea. I find they work really well, even with cold milk, and are especially good at frothing my coffee/hot chocolate mix in the winter.

Edge of backsplash (I'm pointing it out because I did something a little different!). I build the edge up to the ceiling line.

Thanks for labeling. I'm biased because I love green granites and would choose one of those 2. Butterfly is a gorgeous color. Never seen nambia in person, but even before knowing it was green I was drawn to that one because I like the movement and light background. I'm not a fan of the brown. Matches no question, but it's dark and looks a little generic. Good luck. Hope you get more responses in the kitchen forum.
