Hi Dottie, I understand. Looking in the mirror and seeing our reflection change is a little scarry huh? I started noticing changes in my 30's but it really hit me in my 40's. What bugs you the most? What can you change? What are you willing to change? and at what lengths are you willing to go to? It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, this is about you and what is comfortable to you. There are many options out there for treating skin. A quality esthatician can do a lot for you with skin care, and can even offer you treatment options that will improve your skin. You might consider going in to a facialist that carries several skin care lines and pamper yourself with a facial and get some recommendations from them. Just remember that many of the treatments are things you need to keep up. Other options are getting something like Renova froma dermatologist. A salon has peels, etc but they aren't going to be as strong as what a dermatologist can prescribe or treat. Renova actually removes the fine lines from skin. If you do a word search online you will find a wealth of info. I personally get botox injections between my brows. I felt like I looked mad every time I caught my reflection and decided to do something about it. I have no regrets, the results are wonderful and I look more awake and happier. Best wishes!

Hope I can get some! There are quite a few I buy on there. Usually we get the Smart Source or P&G.

I use various size boxes in home, in vehicle, and RV and on ATVs for fire extinguisher. I have them placed all over the house (a few in larger rooms) including the garage and in the sheds. The stuff will put out every kind of fire. This I know by experience. Lil

My dermatologist recommended CeraVe. I use the moisturizing lotion on my face, morning and night -- haven't tried the one with sunblock. I slather the moisturizing cream (in a jar) all over the rest of me after I bathe. (And I do mean *slather*.) I know the cream is intended for the face, but I don't care. I like this much better than Lubriderm or any oil. She also recommended Cetaphil body wash, but it leaves a sort of greasy feel. I was told to avoid hot baths -- not doing that either. (Bad patient.) Maybe it I 'cut' the Cetaphil with baking soda, like Sushipup... Who has something good for the cuticles? Mine want to take over my nails. I can't push them back without bleeding -- even after a bath -- and then they won't stay back. There's no 'give' there. At 75, my skin is too thin. Well, *I* am too thin, too. BTW, it's my understanding that we have skin to form a protective *barrier*. This means none of the products you put ON your skin go much beyond the surface. Some of the products 'rough up' (destroy) the top layer of cells so that they slough off faster (the 'glow'), but a 'moisturizer' can really only put a layer of protection between your skin and the drying air. 'Moisturizers' that promise more should probably all be labeled "Hope" or "Faith" or "The Power of Positive Thinking" because our protective layer of skin won't let them penetrate. They can only help keep drying air away from whatever moisture is IN the skin.
