I made orange ice cream on Wednesday, but didn't use the 3-ingredient recipe. Finally took a picture of it so I could post on this thread. I don't have the Ben & Jerry's book, but found this (recipe below) on-line and it referenced the Ben & Jerry's book. It's very easy to make, but a bit different from the recipe Linda posted. I added the mint for a little bit of color. The three volunteer guinea pigs who tasted it said it reminded them of the Creamsicles/Dreamsicles of their youth. Apparently, the Creamsicle & Dreamsicle both have a sherbet shell but the Creamsicle has ice cream in the center, and the Dreamsicle has ice milk in the center. Orange Cream Dream Ice Cream from Ben & JerryÂs Ingredients: ⨠1/3 cup Orange juice concentrate; thawed ⨠2 teaspoons Vanilla ⨠2 cups heavy cream or whipping cream ⨠3/4 cup Sugar ⨠2/3 cup Half and half (I added 2 T vodka to keep it from getting icy) Directions: Pour the cream into a mixing bowl. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more. Pour the half and half and whisk to blend. Add the juice concentrate and vanilla and blend. I added the vodka at this step. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions. Makes about 1 qt.

Great work GrammyP, they look so fun. I particularly like your use of the black w/ them (also the white), makes them pop w/ high graphic contrast! Love the overall quilting, is that free motion? Wonderfully swoopy. Also, I like the 'youth size' idea. Can you tell us the overall finished size pls? Thanks much for showing this, it reminded me I tried this block a while back & forgot about it. This prompted me to find the 3 blocks I made & 6 more I had cut & marked from some pastel squares I was given (5" I think). I'll have to combine these into something!! Lucky, kids indeed, well done!

Ron - Maybe you need to post a warning before readers view those photos (just teasing) - that one you posted today really made be feel a little dizzy. I'm not afraid of heights - just precipices!!! There is just no way I could ever get that close. But I can also sympathize with you - my middle son would have been right there next to your son.

Thank you, to all who have commented, and especially to those who took my post in the spirit in which it was offered Your post never alluded to the guy being obese, but one of the first responses from snidely went off on the obesity tangent and what "fat women" wear.Not sure what it had to do with butt cracks. I don't know what ever made so many fat women think that wearing body-hugging stretchy stuff over their torsos and legs ( I don't know what the names are, is it leotards and leggings) is anything other than disgusting. btw, here we call exposed butt crack "plumbers cleavage" which puts a whole other spin on it lol.
