Well..I can say, I have crafted with bones for many years. Must be the Native American in me. When I lived out in the country, and my son's and i would go fishing, I would come to a screeching halt when I saw a clean carcass. When my son's were old enough to drive, and they would see me look back along the road when they were driving..they knew right away to turn around, and 'let mom do what she does'...LOL People who knew what id did would bring me bobcats, armadillo's, cow skulls and most any type of bone. I would use the bobcat skins, ( scraping them and tanning them with salt) I have used deer legs as table legs and gun racks, I made a skeleton for halloween using animal bones. Skulls and Jaw bones I usually painted Native American scenes on them. I would have no problem building a garden trellis or windchimes from bones. I have seen people save the wishbones from turkeys and such, spray paint them gold and tie them to gift boxes for luck. I say, to each their own. My dad used to always tell us when he was young, they used the turkey breast bones for ice skates..LOL ( I never know when to believe what he says..LOL)...and you bet..I would have stopped and picked those bones up ;) Loved your story..LOL

My Dacor range (ERD30S06) still looks like new after 10 yrs. use, but I wouldn't give it away to a family member or friend at this point. I'm one of the unfortunates dealing with a bad circuit board. My model is also super loud when the oven is on and takes ages to preheat. I absolutely get that some good brands get a bad rap in internet reviews for having had one model or two that were lemons. I almost steered clear of purchasing a JennAir range for our lake place for that reason. So glad I decided to go with one. It's been a reliable workhorse for the past 5 years. I understand how tempting the deal sounds on the Dacor, but I would urge you to get as much info as you can before buying it. Mine has become such an unreliable pain that I can't wait till I can afford to replace it.

Not nearly as popular vs. a few years ago here tho'. * Just helped a young man with the linked Weber smoker. He bought some Traeger smoking pellets, regular charcoal, & a bag of Cowboy Hickory wood-lump charcoal. * It's a nice, easily portable smoker, and does a good job. * The Traeger smoking-grills are getting increasingly popular here, and we stock most of them. Most have to be plugged-in to run the Thermometer/auto-augering-system for the many flavored pellets available. * The smaller ones are portable tho'! * Near the Traeger area, we've got EIGHT full pallets of their wood-pellets!! * Check out Traegergrills.com * There are some RABID fans of these Traegers 'round here! Hi Snookums, We are looking at Cal Spas for a prefab BBq. Ultimately, I may have someone build it to my specs, but we are having Swan run gas and electric to the spot, so either way, I'm sure it will be great.
