Your side walls need to be factored in as well from a functional perspective. Also, height and spacing of TV and hood in relation to backsplash - best to draw it all too scale. And wondering if your outlet is installed too close to grille per code...that may need to be rectified before you address the back surfaces.

Replying to this old post, building an outdoor kitchen sounds awesome! A small pergola could be a great way to add some shade and style. It would look nice and provide the coverage you need for your grill and countertop. Plus, you can attach blinds or shutters to it for extra sun protection. When I set up my outdoor space, I opted for some outdoor blinds from www.starblindsact.com.au. They really helped block the sun during those hot afternoons and kept the area usable even when it rained a bit. I think you could go for a pergola with some climbing plants or string lights to make it feel cozy. Just make sure the materials you choose can withstand the weather.

An architect could design a cover for you. Glass and steel beam awning may work, too, with adequate exhaust fan and ventilation for the barbecue smoke.

Hello! Good afternoon We will go with a small kitchen to give it a space to host a small bbq or to have a spot for sitting and breakfast table, the kitchen could be in an L shape to the right corner or a linear kitchen to the wall in the back, i would finish the brick wall and build the kitchen in that whole wall, so you can have space to the front with a small table and a grill, we recommend to use lighting around the roof and plants on the deck to give the space a little touch, its a beautiful outdoors space! we hope we could help! if you need any ideas, you can visit our website for references, even if you need a design, were here to help you https://europeankitchencenter.com/
