Totally bizarre question.. electric heel sander?
Comments (48)If anyone sees this old listing, thanks for the suggestions above! I have another weapon to suggest in the "dry heels" arsenal: gel-heel socks. I buy them at BBB (link below) but when I was looking at the Footsmart website at products mentioned earlier, I saw that they have them, too. In spite of professional pedicures, a sandpaper-scraper and a ton of heel creams, I still battled dry heels for years until I started using the socks. Sometimes I sleep in them every night, other times just once in a while. Adding the socks to pedicures, scraping and cream has completely solved the problem for me. Here is a link that might be useful: gel-heel socks...See MoreHas anyone found a comfortable pair of heels?
Comments (108)I have these shoes "Tsubo" and they come in your size. I will buy more of this brand if I see them on sale with Sierra Trading post because of the comfort and looks. There is a bit of a problem with the sizing on this shoe though, you will need to go up at least half a size but possibly a full size. So, if you want to take a gamble and the size happens to work you've hit the jackpot. You cannot see the sole traction when on. These are very "classic" on but can be dressed up or worn casual dressy. They come in three colors and are very well made and have some traction on the sole. If you sign up for the coupons these can be had for $50. I tried to link the page but it did not work. So, just do a Tsubo search on sierratradingpost.com....See MoreIf you are tall do you wear high heels?
Comments (22)So my wife's friend calls me and tells me she is at my house. My wife is taking a quick nap in her dress because we have somewhere to go about an hour later. I picked her heels off the floor and hid them because I knew if someone came over the first thing she would do is look for heels to put on. So I sneak my wife's friend in the front door with her daughter. I am very tall but couldn't believe how tall they were with the heels they bought on. They must have been `12" because even at my height they seemed just a little shorter than me. They could barely walk in them. I go into my bedroom and tell my wife that someone was here to see her. She said "what, I didn't hear the door?" She got up and immediately said "where are my heels? I left them right there on the floor. Who is it at the door?" I told her someone from church I didn't recognize which she didn't think much about because she was always talking to people at church I didn't know. So she said "whatever, I don't want to keep them waiting" So she walks out of our room into the entry way and stands awestruck when she sees them. My poor wife was in shock as they walked up to her to hug her and her head had to tilt all the way up to see them. I thought it was so funny that she was just taller than them at church and now looked so tiny next to them. In her pantyhose feet she was towered over by her friend and her daughter. They teased her and patted her on the head calling her shorty. It was so funny....See Morecracked heels, arghhhhh!
Comments (36)Glenda, buy yourself a Ped Egg. I used mine today because tonight I wore stockings for the first time in a couple of years. I went out to dinner and wore a new dress and I had to wear stockings. Funny thing, I met my friend at the restaurant and the parking lot was full so I parked in the lot next door. After dinner it was dark when we left so he walked me to my car. I was parked next to an alley and it was kind of dark. While we were standing there talking, a police car drove through the lot. The officer must have seen us walking in the alley and came through to see if we were doing anything illegal I guess. Maybe he was just checking to see if things were OK....See Morebud_wi
