I had 4 laser applications, the last one about 5 weeks ago. My bikini line is completely done. Haven't seen anything at all. I could probably use 1 more treatment on my chin and neck, but my lip was done after 2. I was warned that I may need to go back once a year for any new growth, but otherwise I've been very pleased with the results. My bikini line was particularly heavy and waxing and shaving were a nightmare of ingrown hairs. There are MANY kinds of lasers and some work better than others. I just spent some time looking for the brochure that listed the type of laser, but I haven't been able to find it. I'll look again later and see if I can find it and post it for you. Before I went I asked for referrals from former patients. It's done at my OB/GYN's office by the Physicians Assistant, so I was fairly confident it would be a success. AM

Definitely into skin care and use Jan Marini skin products at night. They have glycolic acid in them. The product line was recommneded by a cosmetic surgeon I have used. She also recommends Cetaphil for a cleanser and Neutrogena Health Defense Moisturzier with SPF 45 for daytime. Cetaphil come highly recommended by many dermatologists. I buy the large size at Costco. Anykind of spotting on your skin will not be easy to get rid of without the help of a professional. Just be careful of who you use, if that is the route you decide to use. They are all not equal. The Jan Marini products may leave your skin a little dry at first. She recommends you introduce the products gradually starting with the cleanser on one area at a time. You can get them on-line. I use the cleaner and the bioglycolic cream.

hey mojo pals! I've been MIA...got off the train for a stretch and missed it when it left the station... I am trying to get back on....I've had a physical and lots of tests and I am perfectly healthy supposedly...no diabetes, no thyroid probs, no Lyme, No "female problems", low cholesterol, the lump in my neck went away...so why do I still feel only about 75% most of the time?? I *am* within inches of being diagnosed with glaucoma...my pressure has been high for years and though my fields test come out fine, my optic nerve is showing some thinning...I go to talk to the doc on Sep 28.. to top it off, at my last competition on Oct 8, I turned my left ankle pretty seriously. While I am fine to walk on it with no pain, any lateral movement still hurts a month later and there is often tingling up the outside of my leg.... I called my doc yesterday and they wee supposed to get back to me about heading over for x-rays...I am still waiting... I think I will start to get back into upper body workouts, instead of just letting everything slide until my ankle feels better... looking forward to a fresh start on Part 5.... Nancy

All of my favorite inspiration photos have colorful painted cabinets, and I really like how the greens/blues look with the doug fir frame: It was more an example I could use to commiserate with others on the ups and downs of building, I wasn't expecting the drama (or is this just me?): How to build a house Am_e style: Step 1) excitedly make carefully considered decisions during the design phase Step 2) materials come in/something gets built/see it in person, Step 3) promptly second guess decisions from step 1 (oh no, what were you thinking? really? I should have done that the other way) Step 4) wait a bit/sleep on it/see it completed - remember reasons for choices, realize it was a good decision after all, all is well. Step 5) repeat until house is done
