Four Seasons is a great company, they are a family owned business. I am a designer and I have a wholesale account. I have many accounts with different companies from very high end to medium. There furniture is nice medium to higher end for excellent prices. All companies were having problems with production during COVID and other for reasons. I am surprised to hear it is taking this long to receive orders from them. I live in NC, orders normally take around 4 weeks unless they are out of the fabric that was selected. A few things could be holding up orders, it depends on who you buy it from. When you select a piece, look at the details, measurements, cushions, mattress. Standard is fine for some people and it sits fine but you have choices to upgrade to fit your needs and your budget. I think there upgrade prices are very fair and worth it if you like a down softer feel, if you buy a sleeper I would advice not to order firm because a sleeper sits firmer than a sofa. My clients have never had a problem with what they bought, they have been pleased. I am working on a Multi Project right now I am ordering 5 sofas, 10 chair and many dining chairs. Since I am on a tight budget I am ordering standard but I am happy with a standard feel. I am ordering the Benton Sofa Queen sleeper 41” deep for a client in white sunbrella, we upgraded all the cushions to down feather blend, throw pillows in down,upgraded mattress to Memory Flex Mattress. Before you order from a store or designer ask them to call and ask Four Seasons what the receiving date will be. It may vary some but it shouldn’t be long unless they are out of the fabric but they can check this to. The back orders that I have had have taken around 1 to 2 weeks. If there is a problem getting a date you might want to select another fabric or buy what you need and send it in as COM order which is a grade 1-3 price, sunbrella is a 10 grade. Good luck!

I have put up with a lot in my marriage of many years, but that is one thing I won't put up with. I am lucky my husband was a very kind man. He brought a porn flick he bought at a garage sale, I watched a little of it and wouldn't watch anymore. He never watched it again, unless it was while I was away. I think it is degrading to all women and I understand that some men may need more stimulation than others..... But I still would not put up with it. Hi, You can easily wipe or "pad" on shellac. If you are using canned shellac, it will need to be thinned with solvent alcohol. I use a pad made from a low-top cotton sock, wet with alcohol and a little shellac, wrapped up in a 1ft. square of very old, soft 100% cotton sheeting. The pad is remoistened from a brush with shellac every few strokes, when it begins to grab. You can build up an amazing amount of finish in a relatively short time this way, and the best advantage is that it is 100% dust-free as soon as it's padded on. So the finish is ready to go. It can't be handled roughly until it is fully cured, which can take a few weeks. (esp. in higher humidity situations) The thing to watch out for is leaving thumbprints in the soft finish. If you use ultra blond shellac, you won't darken the finish any. But if you are after a more antique effect, use my favorite, garnet shellac. These are available from woodworkers supply places online. The best solvent alcohol I've found is "Behkol", for it contains no H2O, the presence of which retards drying of later coats (worst case, it never dries, is always gummy). The Behkol allows the shellac to dry as its applied, allowing up to a hundred thin coats to be laid on in one session. Caution, though, if you are recoating an old finish. Quite often, the new coat will cause the old to alligator, so fewer coats and a day's drying between is a guard against that happening. If it begins to craze, you're done for the day, lightly sand with 320 before the next round. Good luck, thanks for reaching for the shellac and not the poly! Casey

I live in Vancouver and visited their showroom a week ago. Tho I haven't purchased from them yet, I was impressed with the quality, finishing and designs of their range hoods. They are so much cheaper than the Italian hoods that have similar styling, I just can't see the down side in going with this company. Yes, there are more seams showing, but in many cases the prices are less than half the Italian counterparts. For what it is worth!
