Wok use on Culinarian wok grate - observation

I have now used my wok about 8 times using the dedicated wok grate. Love it!

One side feature I'm noticing is that the wok is not becoming evenly seasoned due to the design of the wok grate. The sections of the grate that support the wok do in fact shield some of the heat migrating upward along the walls of the wok - this has been touted as a 'safety' feature of sorts to help keep the handle of the wok cooler. But if the wok is always positioned the same relative to the wok grate, the wok does not season as well below the handle and opposite the handle. The bottom area of the wok is unaffected. Although I have noticed no ill-affect from this, I have purposely left my wok rotated a bit one way and then the other to help even out the seasoning. This isn't a complaint or a criticism, just an observation. Has anyone else experienced the same thing, and if so, any thoughts?

Jon
