Hiites, At this point it could be any one of hundreds, if not thousands, of varieties that produce clusters of tomatoes. Keep in mind that the seed mix-up could have occurred at the wholesale grower where the seeds were grown, harvested and processed before being shipped to TGSC, so it isn't even necessarily one of the varieties they list in their catalog. Once you have the mature color (red, pink, purple, yellow, etc.) and size (2 oz., 4oz., 6 oz., etc.), we may be able to narrow it down to a probable variety. Still, it will be nothing more than a guess. There are thousands of varieties of tomatoes and many of them look pretty much the same. If you remember the date you started the seeds and the date you transplanted them out, that may help in narrowing down the variety in terms of "Days To Maturity" and it being an early, mid-season or late variety. I'm guessing it is an early or a mid-season since a late-season variety wouldn't have a lot of fruitset yet. Dawn

It's early blight. I assume this is a pic of last year's plant and that you haven't planted yet this year, right? The only preventative is using a fungicide from the day of planting. Daconil in one of its various product names is the most recommended. Be sure to read and follow the label directions for mixing and avoid applying it in the direct sun or the heat of the day. The fungus spores survive in the soil and garden debris from the previous year and can also be airborne so once it starts there is no cure - just prevention. If you will search 'early blight' here you'll find many discussions about it and about the use of fungicides to prevent it. Good luck. Dave

If besides wilting, the leaves all turned dark or dried out so quickly, you probably have Late Blight. If you see similar damage on the other plants, remove the damaged areas immediately. Thanks for the ideas. I would be slightly surprised if it is hardening off issues; they'd been outside for a few weeks in gallon container before moving up to the larger container. They did experience a small hail storm (fairly unusual for this area), and at the time, leaves were clearly damaged by that. The hail damaged leaves have fallen off already though. Moreover, damage has appeared on new growth. I'll keep an eye on water. I've still only watered the one time, plus the bit of rain. The watering I did was when I transplanted them in the first place��"I should have made that clearer in my first post. I gave them each a Dr. Earth 5-7-3 fertilizer (http://www.groworganic.com/dr-earth-tom-veg-herb-573-12-lb.html) when I transplanted to the larger pots. I have not given any fertilizer since.
