Starting Random Seedlings

I have been starting random small batches of seedlings for my season here in Miami. I have Atkinson, Everglades, Bloody Butcher, Campari, Floramerica, Stick, Big Beef, and Stump of the World. I have ordered Red velvet, Tasti Lee and got German Giant as a bonus. I'm sure I have forgotten some.

The seeds were sent to me as Velvet Red, not Red Velvet,as noted in the page from Tania's tomato data base linked to below. Just noting this in case someone wanted to Google it or whatever.

It has angora foliage with very dissected leaves and when the sun shines on it the plant just sparkles.

The fruits are unremarkable as to taste and I consider the variety to be a novelty one, and a beautiful one as well just b'c of the foliage.

I am hoping the foliage might resist insect damage better than regular leaves. Probably just wishful thinking. I have started some Tasti-Lee. I hope they do better than my last attempt.

I planted sun gold last year in the fall and it was excellent as long as I didn't overwater. Then I tried it in the spring and the fruit was sour. Don't know what the problem was maybe the seed was not true? They tasted terrible very unlike the ones in the fall.

Not really, Trace. One seedling was under the LED panel (which is only 45 watts), one was under the T5HOs and the mature grafted plant is still under the T5HO shelf. I've had to bring the seedlings upstairs because I do not water much in the basement and these will need regular watering as well as some feeding for the buds to fully develop. The grafted one also needs to be brought up, which I will do later. I had positioned it at the back because I was expecting it to slow down and go semi-dormant as it gets colder. I certainly was not expecting it to start blooming. Also, it isn't that cold there yet---my thermometer is still reporting something like 20 to 25C. I've had to snatch my winter-growing xerophytes and kick them back outdoors. Pagan

Choke cherry seedling..? If you didn't plant a tree/bush in this location, might as well pull it up. Because it ain't going to be pretty otherwise. P.S. Upper and lower left are hostas.
