Jo, I have given her a couple, she has no shade as yet, its a blank canvas site which is very exposed to wind and only a few small trees planted yet, lots to plant over winter. She is well settled now and I have decorated every inch of the house so the real gardening starts now, she likes conifers and grasses and WILL like hostas as I sneak them in everywhere lol . I have got a few garden projects underway too so I will be busy. Its great to have another supplier that has good plants and that conducts business well with a good website, I would recomend them to anyone this side of the pond. Denis

Our heat wave of roughly 1-2 weeks ago is long over. Temperatures for the past week have been high 70's during the day, low/mid 60's at night, every morning a covering of dew on everything from the marine layer that rolls in after sunset. But now, I am getting flowers from the two inflo's that started from this year's growth, not a continuation of last year's inflo still blooming. NIGHT AND DAY..... totally different.... almost looks like pictures I have seen of Orange Jack..... what the HECK do I have here?

Hi Jasmine, Wow that is a really beautiful rose. I will have to look up that one now lol. I did get a Grande Dame from them about a month ago that was band size and well rooted. I stuck the band (pot and all) in a hanging basket to let it acclimate to the morning sun/afternoon shade from eaves of the porch roof for a few weeks and it got so big that I potted it up to 2 gallon size. It is doing well. I was just wondering if the bands would actually flower the first year. Yeah!!! I have 3 more coming from HR total but they aren't shipping these particular varieties until March.

If you're going for an area rug under the bed then you can put down a random shaped fake fur rug in white to add more texture plus they feel so good to step on with bare feet, lol
