Will this frog survive here?

I came across this fellow today. I'm assuming it's a Northern Leopard Frog (Pickerel Frogs are not generally found around here, I gather).

However, these frogs overwinter in several feet of water and of course need water to breed. There isn't any water around here and the backyards are too small to have useful (for frogs) ponds. I have no idea what this one is doing in my garden. The nearest river is a half mile away.

Is this little guy doomed?
