Double Oven - Viking VEDO130SS s/s 30" "1" series double oven, upper convection (CLEARANCE ITEM)

So that is the list. Our budget is about 30k and depending on the price of the Viking we are comfortably within it so we have room to make some other decisions if there are better options. Some things about our list, we are building a house with an updated farmhouse feel to it, so we don't like more modern looking appliances (thus the Viking decision). In addition, we went around and around about a 48 inch Capital vs. a 36 inch. Finally we decided there wasn't enough benefit to us from a griddle or a grill and we don't need 8 burners. We are certainly interested in other opinions on this. I have read a bunch of opinions about this on this site already which contributed to both the decision to look at Capital and ultimately to go with the 36".

One final question...we really like the looks of the discontinued Viking and have read that the svs record of this unit is very good. Our appliance dealer has a price that is over 1k higher than we are finding on-line, so we are considering buying it online if our guys aren't willing to get closer to the online price. Any reason not to do this? 1k is obviously a lot of money.

Looking forward to the discussion! We are going to finalize our purchases in the next couple of weeks.
