You can camp at Shawnee Pine Hills Campground in the National Forest (I think that is the right name). Its pretty close to Snake Road and you can herp the campground at night too if you feel inclined. I would think early May might be a good time to find Timber Rattlers, and I imagine a few cottonmouths and water snakes can still be found along the road. Racers, Rough Greens, Ribbons and Black Rats ought to be around as well. April is probably ideal, but if you herp a wide area and extend your hours into the dark, you shoudl see plenty.

That would be a great day even in prime time! That's a nice sized copperhead plus any timbers are a big find. It is getting very dry in some locations. I seldom hear of anyone finding a great plains skink in Missouri. Was it right on the border?

Wow after reading that article it seems we are all doomed. If you can get shingles after the chicken pox vaccine. I am really glad I got my shingles shot. I tried to find the original studies that were about exposure to CP and immunity but no links.= " We know that exposure to chickenpox can significantly prevent or delay shingles (by exogenous boosting of immunity)Increased annual chickenpox rates in children under 5 are associated with reduced shingles in the 15��"44 age group" This doesn't really convince me as most people I know that get shingles are late 50's or older as immune systems decline. I am not sure which article I read that says CP is seasonal but shingles isn't may be missing info too. As the area my parents live in has shingles outbreaks just like chicken pox normally in the late spring early summer. I wonder if as the boomers age if stats will become clearer. The CDC article says you can spread CP with shingles but does not mention shingles to shingles. Which I have personally seen amoung my parents friends.

Had I known that there was such a huge difference between the Patients Fact List and the Physicians, I would NEVER have begun to take the Prometrium. I suffer from Secondary Amenorhea and took Prometrium for 4mo. I gained 30lbs & became increasingly depressed with crying spells and intense anxiety. I already suffer from depression and it diminished the effectiveness of my current meds. I don't know why my doctor didn't inform me. But she didn't. I am going OFF the Prometrium on the advice of my Psychiatrist. What I mean to say is BE WELL INFORMED BEFORE YOU TAKE ANY MEDICATION. Read below. The most common adverse experiences reported in 5% of patients in all PROMETRIUM Capsules dosage groups studied in this trial(100 mg/day to 400 mg/day) were: dizziness(16%) breast pain(11%), headache(10%), abdominal pain(10%), fatigue(9%), viral infection(7%), abdominal distention(6%), musculoskeletal pain(6%), emotional lability(6%), irritability(5%), upper respiratory tract infection (5%) PRECAUTIONS - General -Patients who have a history of psychic depression should be carefully observed & the drug discontinued if the depression recurs to a serious degree. -The pretreatment physical examination should include special reference to breast & pelvic organs, & Pap smear. -Because progesterone may cause some degree of fluid retention, conditions which might be influenced by this factor, such as epilepsy, migraine, asthma, cardiac or renal dysfunction, require careful observation. -In cases of breakthrough bleeding, as in any cases of irregular bleeding per vaginum, nonfunctional causes should be borne in mind.
