Thanks gardengal19 for answer most of the questions. : D Your absolutely right it is germinated on paper towel then I put it on top of a cake lid filled with soil. The roots go right through the paper towel into the soil. It's working out very well. I have some more of the same type of lettuce growing in little pots and they are growing much slower than these guys. I don't plan on transplanting these guys. I want a sort of "Micro Green" garden so I'm going to keep them in this container and snip the lettuce as needed. I know that it's a lot of seedlings but I think it will be ok. Here is a link that might be useful: Urban Farm Wife

Proudgm, you can save any pics to there, if it's in PB already then there is a link that says "copy to my album" and it will put it there. As far as other sites, I know there is a way to upload them to PB from your album, I think you would just put the web address in it, I've never done it before. Also as Tracy pointed out above: Vic, one thing I would like to add about setting up your own photobucket account is that you can create your own folders for it too. I have several different sub albums in my account for family pics, garden shots, then sub albums for each of my individual gardens, clematis, lilies, daylilies and then keep a separate album for all web art I find that I want to use again or edit/personalize. I like keeping them separated so if I do a search I can find what I'm looking for pretty quickly. It is a pretty neat site and they just recently expanded some of their editing tools so you can add comments and funny designs to the pictures too. I've started part 3 so we don't have to wear our mouses out scrolling the page : )

Just fabulous (yes, thanks to the poster who linked it directly)! Love it all, the fabric, yes very Pink Panther, the colors & esp. the setting. How to you get the black sashing so even looking (or is it pre-made tape, bias maybe)? A caution: pls. think twice before backing it w/ solid black. Black is a notoriously unstable dye/pigment. We learned this quickly at Textile School. Recently, a favorite teacher at my LQS showed a beautiful foundation pieced work, which had a hole or 2 near the middle of complex piecing. She explained it was the solid black, that other than being unstable dye as I knew, she said fabric producers often overdye black over other fabric 'mistakes' & that can make even more problems. She said over time the black just degraded (rotted) away. She suggested rather than solid flat black, use a small black tone on tone or tiny print; they might fare better over time. Forewarned is forearmed especially on such a beautiful work, well done indeed!

Neil - that is quite the set! And what a deal you got on it! $150 off, nice job! However, I wouldn't know what to do with all those attachments! Although I am sure I could find something. As for the drill bits, Rina is correct, they are specialty bits. I actually found mine back by where they sell tile, not by the drill stuff. And mine is like the first picture, not the second. Its circular with a hole in the middle. I keep water on it while drilling, and gentle pressure. You have to be patient! Also, I think the water may be the cause of my drill giving out on me. The chuck was stuck. I could not get it to move for nothing! I tried CLR (I noticed some rust inside of it). I also tried WD40. I could've just replaced the chuck but I couldn't get the hex screw driver down the middle. The chuck was stuck with a bit in it. :-( And MsGreenFinger - thank you for the information! I tried a taste of it alone, and I did not like it!!! So I don't know if I would like anything with just sage (e.g. tea, mouthwash, etc.) but I am going to try it on some pork soon, and maybe even some chicken. :-) Deva
