I am going to plant it with the Appleblossom, it blends in so well with them. It kinda sticks out because it towers over them, and the blooms is so much larger. I have spent hours trying to find it's name, I now believe it's an albino appleblossom. Barbra

Bing Bing Bing! We have another winner - Usha! Yes, that is a Zauschneria californica, California fuschia, blooming its little heart out in downtown Phoenix. Good job, girlfriend! Number one is indeed a lantana - unfortunately only the young sprouts are completely red like that. Here's another shot of the same plant with more mature blooms: There's also another spp. with raspberry edges and I think gold middles... I believe they all fall under the Lantana camera or Lantana spp. heading. This was fun for me, hope ya'll enjoyed it too! More later, I hope.

Thanks all. I was hoping that if I found the technique to stop the plants from talking to me it might work on my 3 and 5 yr old. Thanks Donna I didn't realize they were toxic. Fortunately it is in the raised bed so the dogs stay out and my kids are well mannered when it comes to the gardens. SCG

Yes unfortunatly I didn't notice that last post on the first thread I made. I visited the Hosta Library and I would think that it is Fortunei Hyacinthina. Thanks for your help. Now to determine were to plant some more!
