Oh, boy I hope they weren't in there this evening. I was spraying the front for mosquitoes and fleas and had John do the back. I forgot to tell him to not do the greenhouse and he did that and all the plants too. I hope it doesn't kill my roses and chrysanthemum. It said not to use on those. He sprayed all my plants that weren't near ponds so I hope it dosen't kill any of them! I saw quite a few critters on the brugs when I was stripping them today but they looked much less than there was before. Blasting them has been working well except THey were hiding on the back side of the plant, lol. I had to turn each plant around and sure enough they were all line up in the spots I had been not getting too. Sneaky dang mealy bugs. I laid several of them on the ground and blasted on side then rolled and did it again until I got them all the way around this time.

TY! I knew the green ones can be brown sometimes but wasn't sure about the other way 'round. The stripe is very distinct. So do you think this was an attempt at amorous activities? I've not seen the 'raised hackles' or deepened eye sockets during such before, but have only caught that activity in person twice (when there was no question what they were doing.) You can see how into their fight they were, (or foreplay, if that's the case.) I was so close to get those pics. Took this pic 9/21, can't remember if I've showed it to you elsewhere or not. I think it had just hatched. It had grit all over it & is officially the smallest one I've seen. It was cool to the touch so I assumed that's why it was brown. Maybe it's an invader. I didn't see a stripe, but wasn't looking.

It's important that we know what part of the world you are from.

Lots of things don't bother me, but there's some. Greedy people.... especially ones that take advantage of elderly and vulnerable people. And there should be a special place in Hell's hottest spot for those who take advantage of their parents (well, and family). Bicyclists and motorcyclists who figure look out for me... I wouldn't feel bad seeing them crash. Parents that let their kids scream in public places and make others have to put up with their parental incompetence. People with SUVs and, well any 4WD or AWD that figure they can drive faster than everyone in the winter because they have 4WD/AWD... and never learned that they can't stop any faster. Don't they usually have a bumper sticker that says something like My other car is also an overpriced 4WD that has never seen so much as a gravel road! And pickup owners in the snowbelt who won't put weight in the back so they're sliding around all over the road. Schools sending kids out to sell overpriced junk to raise money for various things and of course most any door to door solicitor. I had so many people wanting to put a new roof on my place after a storm. Handicapped parking at lumber yards. Just once I'd like to see someone in a wheelchair rolling out of there carrying a 12' sheet of drywall. Political campaigns that start years in advance. People who put dogs/kids outside to bark/scream and just close the door so they don't have to listen to them. People who have had their turn signal on continuously since 1984. But the WORST? People that criticize MY driving! Don't they realize it's not easy to eat a McMuffin, balance a roll and hash browns on my leg, sip my coffee, talk on my cell phone while I'm reading the paper, tie my shoes, finish shaving and take notes for the day's projects! I'm under STRESS people!!
