Wood Turtle

A few weeks ago we had a lone wood turtle hanging about the house in our tanbark. We discovered that she had layed 8 eggs in the tanbark so they were removed and put in their own little pile of tanbark to keep them safe. How long will it take for them to hatch out and is there anything we can do to protect them from preditors? I live in the woods with raccoons, skunks, fox, etc.
