I visited four different areas today, all in St. Louis County. I ended up having a decent day, finding the following:

2 Yellowbelly Racers

6 Prairie Ringneck Snakes

Black Rat Snake

Eastern Garter Snake

Western Earth Snake (Lifer)

TMTC Ground Skinks, Five-Lined Skinks, Fence Lizards

12 Slimy Salamanders

2 Southern Redback Salamanders

6 Three-Toed Box Turtles

I also saw my first Black Widow Spider on the underside of a rock. This made me be just a little more cautious when lifting the next few rocks, although I was pretty excited about the find! The Earth Snake was also a pleasant surprise! I've been hoping to find one of these guys sooner or later, and I finally did!
