Thanks josephine_gw for verifying! Mine isn't infested to that extent, but that's what is on the leaves. The underside of the leaves is mainly infested, they're not on the top of the leaves yet. I had black sooty mold on the top of the leaves. I've cleaned the black mold off the plant, and most of the scale also. I went to the local feed store and described the problem to them and they told me that it sounded like a scale infestation, and suggested I spray the plant with mineral oil to get rid of them. They said that the mineral oil coating would smother the scale. I've been using it according to the labels mixing ratio for about 3 weeks and the infestation is minimal, but there are still some on the plant.

A agree....not old....But i'll give you that it might be 1960....or it could be 2010.

You might try a sample of the above suggestion… to see if the tone is glaringly different

To determine the age of your watch, you will need to open your watch and find the serial number on the watch's movement. This crucial figure will indicate the manufacture date. (Unfortunately, you cannot rely on the number stamped outside on the watch case which is largely used only for identification purposes.) Why not take it to an expert?
