SHe's a beauty! How could you wanna hurt a deer? Even though they taste pretty yummy, lol. Don't get me wrong, I am all for hunting, as long as you do it right, and are doing it for food. I guess I still like them cuz they don't eat my gardens, lol. Only had 1 in the yard here so far, and that was just a run thru. But ya gotta remember..the animals were here first..we are on THEIR land, invading THEIR homes. That subject alone really ticks me off..I dont even wanna get started. I'll never forget the 1st time my son saw a dead deer my brother got..that poor lil boy cried his eyes out when he realized it was dead. I dont even wanna talk about weather..grumble grumble..

Annie, I know it's hard to believe that we would leave that beautiful snow in Michigan, but, it's true. We are going to Cathy and Ray's for lunch tomorrow in sunny Florida and we are really excited. Jim, glad you found us pleasant and we will vouch for you also. Cathy said, to come early and "roll up your sleeves" and we will cook together. That will be so much fun! However, Cathy do you want us there around 8:00 a.m. to get everything ready by noon or 1:00 p.m.? LOL Karen

Awwww, welcome home Boo!! He's a cutie! Sounds like Ginger is coming around slowly but surely. There have been some similarities in our house with the "last one in the pack" trying to readjust to a new buddy. Sam has desperately tried to get Tasha to play (he likes the run and chase game) and Tasha is just not into all that, but she is definitely coming around. LOL, she has never been a kennel dog and twice now I have caught her laying down in Sam's kennel when he is out hanging somewhere else. I think that's great that your Dad has bonded with Boo as well and that ya'll are willing to share him. Congrats on your new pack member!!!

Oh- that kind of cruise!!! I guess I read your post a little too literally. I should have remembered your fondness for vintage vehicles. Tom's car is a beauty, what is it? The oldest car my parents owned that I can remember was a 1950 Ford. We had parked it at a supermarket in suburban Pittsburgh and when we finished shopping and came back to the car were quite surprised to see that a retaining wall had collapsed and buried our car and 10 others. When they finally cleared the debris away our Ford was the only one that could be driven- not very far of course since it didn't have a windshield. They don't build them like that any more. My husband and I had a 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible about 10 years ago but sold it when our boys started driving. We just didn't have room for 5 cars.
