Using your guess for division of space, then, I will need to move that receptacle that is on the other side of the refrigerator's end wall (where the breakfast table will be) off of the small appliance circuit and onto the AFCI-protected general-use circuit for the sitting room area, right? Your guess does seem the most obvious. But I'll check with our inspector to be sure he agrees. As far as GFCIs, I might end up simply protecting the entire circuit with a GFCI breaker, rather than use individual GFCI receptacles, just because I've found those to be more of a pain to wire, especially when you have multiple connections in a box. My mom and I are doing the wiring ourselves so trying to keep things as hassle-free as possible! I was originally going to use a 20A double pole GFCI breaker to feed both small appliance circuits to save wire, but that breaker is really expensive ($115!).... so I might go back to two separate 20A breakers after all.

Shade can be a subjective term varying from deep shade to partial sun with many gradations. This is usually also a dry shade and the most difficult site to grow other plants. Full Shade: beneath mature deciduous trees such as oaks and maples. Can also be a dry shade especially under maples. High shade is the shade beneath trees that have been limbed up. This is a very desirable type of shade. Dappled or filtered shade: A continuous shifting pattern of shade, ideal for growing shade plants. Light or part shade: receive full shade for 2-3 hours during mid-day. Full sun plants may still do well in such a situation since they get about 5-6 hours of sun during the day. Full sun is five or more hours of direct sun. Half shade: Shade for 4-5 hours with periods of full sun and periods of full shade. It is more sun than most shade plants can tolerate. Northern exposure sites are those on the north side of walls, fences or a row of solid trees. It is open to the sky, but gets no direct sun. Spring sun and summer shade is what woodland plants like; the summer shade is provided by deciduous trees as they leaf out. Morning sun provides light without the hot baking of the early afternoon sun. Both shade and sun-loving plants may do well depending on the total hours of sun. Effect of latitude. Plants that need shade in the south can tolerate more sun in northern climes.

You can use either the rope or the spray paint to substitute for the hose. I favor the rope as it allows you to easily fine tune the shape of the bedline without a lot of confusing paint markings :-)) One seldom gets it right the first time!! Just make sure that any curves you plan are graceful and gradual in shape - not too many and with no squiggles.....if that makes sense ;-))

Apropos of very little, back prior to retirement, often at the lunch table I'd tell everyone I was headed back into the cafeteria to pick up dessert. (For the last 5-6 years working I pretty much had brought in my own lunches, which simply by so doing I'd lost 40 pounds...) At any rate, the regulars at the table rapidly learned to know what I meant. The not-so-regulars at our table were always stunned when I'd come back with a dish of spinach or asparagus. Yep, dessert, end of meal treat for me! (That cafeteria always made the best asparagus, had to have it!) I do something similar at sushi bars on occasion: "Time for dessert! Yes, I'd love a yellowtail scallion hand roll, thank you!" (I do eat sweets on occasion, but there are really very few I truly enjoy. Quality dark chocolate, some cheesecakes, strawberries or raspberries, ice cream... and I don't have the cravings often.)
