My first ADULT Eastern Milk

I had a few hours to kill and went to Kankakee County (actually Irioquois) in the pouring rain expecting to find a higher concentration of snakes under cover trying to escape the rain. As it was I didn't get down there until 6:30-7. I went right to the spot we found the subadult Eastern Milk the other day and sure enough I found a nice 2.5 foot adult female Eastern Milk under a board, the first I have ever seen in the wild.

I checked a few other places before it got dark and found a big Eastern Garter that ruined my shirt. Then I found a nice 4.5 foot Bullsnake that puked up a bird on me (possibly a Robin). Mmmmmm Garter Musk and regurgitated bird. Thank God I had an extra shirt in the car. Very cool short excursion.
