The eagles, peregrine falcons and ospreys that were nearly wiped out around the Great Lakes have returned since DDT was banned.

Publish America is a very shady publisher, and $16.95 for a paperback of 109 pages is a rip-off price for the reader. Lulu.com would publish a book that size for $4.14 ... that's about what it costs PA to print theirs.

PA is planning to make its money from the copies you buy for friends and family, and the copies they persuade you to buy. Unfortunately, you are stuck in PA's one-sided contract, hoping for royalty checks that aren't going to come.

Now go back and tell all the writers on the PA forums that publicizing by posting links on Garden Web is not a good idea.

When my DH and I were house hunting, one of the houses we looked at was brand new. Hubby said "This would be great if we knocked out this wall!" I told him it was rather silly to tear down brand new walls - better to find a house that suited our needs (which we eventually did). Mark is saying the same thing - rather than start with a plan that doesn't suit your needs (and has a prominent feature that your wife hates, with good reason), instead of trying to adjust this plan to meet your needs, you are much better off starting with a plan that suits your lot, your family, and your needs. While there might be an internet plan out there that would work better for you, an architect could design a house just for you.

Quick google search has her as President of the Chang Mei Expats club last year as well as some info about costs of living, etc. It's a kind of long article, and the Nancy part is towards the end, with an email address for the expat club.

Our club is trying to find out if anything is happening. Our Representatives are asking everyone, including AHS and Hosta College. I've searched the internet and so far only found Southern Michigan Hosta Society has it on their calendar in June for Grand Rapids area. lol What a mystery we have here.
