Lorraine, I'm in the same boat. I live in San Diego and have a dwarf Santa Rosa plum tree that I've had at least 4 years. This is the first year that I've had a significant amount of blossoms set fruit (although last year I moved the tree from a pot to in the ground a bit late in the year, losing almost all of my blossoms). Some of the lower ones are yellowing and will probably fall off. I've got my fingers crossed for this year.

Ahm Mary...I wouldn't like that too much either! My phobia is snakes. I had one trap me in the greenhouse a couple of weeks ago. I was in there checking out the plants, turned around to leave and this snake was stretched all the way across the doorway. I had no way out and it really freaked me out. Karyn, I have no clue what this tree frog is. This kind is sort of a gray spotted that looks like a rock. They have a pointed nose on them. I have better pics somewhere of this type and will have to try and find one. Kylie, I'm going to start calling my "sunroom" the Hippie Hideout. I love that! It's much more fitting than "the sunroom". Yes, it's still up which is a good thing. We'll take it down in a couple of weeks probably. Here's the pic from last fall of the greenhouse I need to get out there and get more pics. It's looking really nice out there and hopefully the cold won't damamge everything that's up. If you need some close-ups of the frame yell and I'll send them to you. I havn't been able to read many posts here...Has anyone seen or heard from Jeep/Jim or Shortyhead/Jim lately?

I love froggies..all critters really, always have since I was little. I was a major tomboy, no barbies or dresses for me.. mud, critters BMX bikes and GI Joe's, lol. The only thing I liked that was girly was Strawberry Shortcake from K-2nd grade. My older brother and I were always taking off going down the tracks and in the woods exploring n stuff. Not like kids now a days always watching tv, vidoe games, and on the comp. He worked in a pet shop for a quite a few years so I learned alot that way as well, I was there alot. ( I almost worked there too..but the guy wanted to interview me in the basement of the shop at like 9pm..as a 15 yr old girl that kinda scared me, lol, so I never went) If I don't know something I'll look it up. As a kid, I would bust out the encyclopedias to learn the stuff. And I was always, and still do to this day, watch alot of nature shows. Just love nature. We always had tons of critters in the house. I remember one time we found giant snapping turtle, we found a blanket that someone left in the woods, got the turtle in it and walked all the way home with it and put it in the backyard..god that thing was big. Needless to say, our mother was not happy. We let him go at a neighborhood pond, where the kids have fishing derbies, lol. OK so come up with a good name for me!! :)

Earlier this year, a northern leopard frog ate the two green tree frogs that were also living in the screenroom with it (I searched the websites and none told me leopard frogs ate other frogs). I only found out when I saw back legs sticking out of its mouth. That leopard frog got immediately evicted from the screenroom in a rush. It also must of ate the brown tree frog it had a baby frog with. Now there's only green tree frogs allowed in the screenroom. It must of happened so fast because I didn't even hear it scream (then again, it got eaten head first). It is horrible that birds eat them. There's also a cat that roams the neighborhood here that attacks them. That's why I would rather have the green tree frogs in my protected screenroom with the orchids. I also have a black and orange poison dart frog in its indoor tank. That's a very pretty frog you have.
