Thanks for the site....love watching the Norfolk ones every year. The ones in the Cascades break my heart....the nest is still full of snow, but they still come back there to try to raise a family each year.

I have been watching this since Phoenix hatched! Got on the website last night to see if it had left the nest yet, only to be shocked that he/she had died! I hope they find out in the autopsy how this happened...very, very sad.... Did you see the climber get it today? Was touching when he waved at the camera. Hmmmm, nature...I just don't understand sometimes!

Alisande, that must be a popular link. It said the server was busy when I tried it. I'll try again in awhile. That was a nice story, BLF. Happy2b, what a treat to see the birds so close. We have a nesting pair up very near where I board my horse. Driving up there a few months ago, there was some road kill on the side of the road. An eagle had landed right near it and was approaching it as I went by. I was so excited to see him!! They are majestic and starting to make a comeback here in Ohio.
