Hi Windcatcher ... Today you just saved me a whack of cash and aggravation. I ordered the 20 HP Vanguard motor from Small Engine Warehouse. I checked them out on the net from the link you sent. I also called Simplicity but I sure had to jump through hoops to trace down their phone number in Milwaukee. I finally got it by Googling Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, calling them and spoke to someone who looked up the number for me. I finally spoke to someone at Simplicity who then reffered me to Briggs & Stratton. I called them and spoke to someone in their technical department. The short strokes is that I should have no problems exchanging motors and if there is a problem Small Engine Warehouse will take the motor back for a 15% stocking fee which is fair.

We're going to pass on the seed swap, unfortunately...it sounds like fun, but when we start from seed, we tend to get a fungus :( Mary, definitely when it comes to us at the swap, there's no such thing as being piggy...we were so worried we'd have to compost tons of leftovers. I hope the daylilies do well for you! TwoHuskies, I saw the picture of your dogs, they're gorgeous! We also have two huskies, as the poster who mistook you for us noted. Hopefully my post cleared that up. As they said, you should come to the next swap, mostly because I love meeting dogs. Plus, you know, the whole swap thing.
