HelpMeFind recognizes Falcon but has no pictures. Just saying in is a dark red large flowered climber introduced by Kordes in 1998. Hardiness rated at 6b to 9b. I'm not expecting it to be still listed by Kordes but will check. Hey anybody out there I'm just trying to find someone with it and hopefully get a cutting!

Bloomers, You are only seeing the good pictures! But thxs! The SAC must be .. either 6 or 7 years old. One of the first things planted. It does get cut down to about a foot or lower if I can each spring, I sometimes do a secondary pruning later to keep it in check. The Huldine probally 4 years, ...maybe 5. After flowering the Huldine got clematis wilt and died back to the ground! Later new shoots came up and grew till frost. I followed the clematis planting instructions. Plant em deep, plenty of compost and fertilizer, mulch on top. I give them more compost and composted manure plus a slow release rose fertilzer in the spring, then monthly as well ( if I remember and get around to it) Extra water during dry spells. The SAC is starting to get less TLC as it seems to be a problem of keeping it under control, not encouraging it! I do give it extra water becuase it has to compete with Norway maple roots. Hi floota! You are so ahead of me with convention pics! Gosh, I haven't even begun to sort through mine....given that I have even more than last year and I just got that last garden done right before this year's convention,....I suppose there is no hope for me...lol!! I got zero pics at Stamiles on Sat due to all the rain, but did get my share on Sunday! Enjoyed your pictures very much...now, to find the other parts!

jannd, I should have given the information I usually give with the picture. In most, if not all, species of the birds of prey, the female is larger then the male. Sharpie males are about 10"- females 14". Cooper's males are 14"- females 21". A 14" male Coop is the same size as a 14" female Sharpie. The side by side picture is made from pictures on the same fence with one picture manipulated to make the board the same width as the other. That makes the birds to scale to one another. As you can see, they are for all practical purposes, the same size. The real size difference is between the male Sharpie and a female Coop. We hope to get a picture of them on the fence for a side by side of all 4. Hope this is of help, Bob
