Squirrel Proof Success Stories

The failures are many and numerous.

Share your successful squirrel proofing here.

I stuff suet into a metal pipe style peanut feeder. The holes allow access to woodpeckers (and, unfortunately, starlings) and other small birds. While I've seen squirrels climb them, and pick at it, they are mostly disappointed and leave them alone. Even a determined squirrel can't get much than a few licks out of it.

Also, found the Brome Squirrel Buster Plus, properly hung, to be truly squirrel proof. It's expensive, but less than the oodles of money I've spent on cheap feeders that have long since become landfill.

Over to you..
