Another pretty piece by "our" SusieRose! How do you clean the cup once you've glued the piece to the pole? Do you just pull pole & all out of the ground each time it needs cleaning? I've struggled with the vase twirling around the pole as well. I've stuffed the vase with tissue paper, wrapped the tip of the pole with bubble wrap, but sometimes my piece will still twirl. The birds don't like to feast on a rotating resturant. Have you ever seen a dizzy bird? Vickie

Nancy, I'm in a different zone, but thought I'd mention a few roses.... Mme Pierre Oger and Reine Victoria are lovely tall growing Bourbon Roses . For Hybrid Perpetuals, Mrs. John Laing and La Reine. Blush Noisette is a wonderful rose. I've been very pleased with it in my garden setting. For Austins, Mortime Sackler is a lovely rose, resembles a Noisette. Eglantyne, Sharifa Asma, and Evelyn, all beautiful Austins. Miss Alice is a lovely compact Austin, very good repeat bloom, might work in a pot.
