sorry to say...but with things like burgers and brats...you will need pretty close to one of each for every adult. Yes you will have leftovers but better than having someone who wanted a brat not get one. As far as quantities of other stuff... My rule of thumb is 5 pounds of potatoes fixed any way will feed 30 people. And that rule holds fast for potato salad, mashed, scalloped fried etc etc. For the slaw....that's harder because slaw shrinks when it stands. Figure 1/2 a cup per serving...many will have more but many will take less. I figure one big head of cabbage...about twice the size of a soft ball, will serve 30. For the sausage and kraut, have 1 sausage and 1/4 cup of kraut for each person. Veggies?? Have lots...people will graze on them. Chips...a pound will feed 20....have lots, unopened chips will keep. Also if this is an afternoon long party, people will eat more over a longer period of time, but if you are meeting and people go through the buffet line then clean up the food....they won't eat as much. Freeze the strudle after cooking. You can make the potato salad the day before but I wouldn't boil the potatoes any before that....the cabbage is also a day before thing. I suppose you could shred it 2 days before...but it might brown at the edges. Nah....don't cater it....home cooking is better! Hope you have help with the prep....sounds like a great spread. Linda C

A 2-stage gas furnace is a nice option. Especially since most of the time in north carolina its not crazy cold. Most of the time it will run on the lower stage. If your replacing your central A/C you should really get spend a little extra and get a heatpump. North Carolina is heatpump country if I'm not mistaken. I would get the highest efficiency single stage unit. Most of your winter is probably above freezing. The heatpump works well in that weather. Explore some different off-brand names to save money. American std. is made by trane. Luxaire is made by york. I have a luxaire. I'm very happy with it. Prices were low for luxaire equipment. Great warranty. Find some independent certified installers and you should be able to get a new heatpump and 95% gas furnace installed for 5 to 6 grand if they aren't too gready and your situation isn't out of the ordinary.

We also have a Flexsteel leather recliner sofa and loveseat and so far, we love them. I too would advise you to find another retailer. What you're looking for (a couch that feels in some ways like this one, but looks in some ways like another, and feels in some ways different from any you've seen) is not something that someone over the phone will be able to help you with. It's too subjective/individual, and you really will only find what you want by looking and and sitting on several models. It's also possible that Flexsteel doesn't make exactly what you want, and you'll have to look outside their lines for another manufacturer.

Maybe not the table..but the chairs....I'm seeing them painted, too. Have you seen these chairs on houzz? Painted silver....very similar to the chairs in your pic, yes? Maybe just seeing them painted would persuade you to take another look? And your set comes with arm chairs, always a nice touch I've had this pic saved.. love the dining set...and the colors. He went and ruined it with that horrible cheap looking lamp, though. Anyway, worth a look.
