Your inground plants come back in the spring don't they? Karyn, It's a California Gold Bougainvillea. All of the brugs will bounce back very quickly. That is one reason I never worry about the brugs planted in the ground here. But just in case I always have backup plants. Most of my prize Brugs are all planted in pots. After accessing the Brugs this morning all of the leaves looks Burnt and they are all dropping. And go figure, the American pride leaves are all perfect. but hopefully Jack Frost with get It tonight. sorry to say...but with things like burgers and brats...you will need pretty close to one of each for every adult. Yes you will have leftovers but better than having someone who wanted a brat not get one. As far as quantities of other stuff... My rule of thumb is 5 pounds of potatoes fixed any way will feed 30 people. And that rule holds fast for potato salad, mashed, scalloped fried etc etc. For the slaw....that's harder because slaw shrinks when it stands. Figure 1/2 a cup per serving...many will have more but many will take less. I figure one big head of cabbage...about twice the size of a soft ball, will serve 30. For the sausage and kraut, have 1 sausage and 1/4 cup of kraut for each person. Veggies?? Have lots...people will graze on them. Chips...a pound will feed 20....have lots, unopened chips will keep. Also if this is an afternoon long party, people will eat more over a longer period of time, but if you are meeting and people go through the buffet line then clean up the food....they won't eat as much. Freeze the strudle after cooking. You can make the potato salad the day before but I wouldn't boil the potatoes any before that....the cabbage is also a day before thing. I suppose you could shred it 2 days before...but it might brown at the edges. Nah....don't cater it....home cooking is better! Hope you have help with the prep....sounds like a great spread. Linda C

Great old piece.... Indian jewelry that was not made to sell did not need to be marked....in fact a lot of the old stuff was made of coins....so not sterling, but coin quality 900 parts silver. The silver work looks like it may be Navajo, but I have never seen heshi channel set. Maybe send a photo to the Heard Museum to see if they would give you an opinion. Garage sale huh?....sigh!

okay, I am going to prune off all the dead branches at the top since I guess at this point nothing is going to grow there this year or next. If this happens again next year I guess I will worry about it then. Thanks, for all your help on this. Robin
