Looks like one of the cottony scale insects. Female, with egg sacs. (I'm pretty sure.) And aphids don't lay their eggs in sacs, just so you know.

Hummingbird Clearwing Moth - Hemaris thysbe Commonly called common clear-wing, hummingbird moth, sphinx colibri. Like flowers that have many common names but just one latin species name, the Clearwing Hummingbird Moth goes by a number of names - Hawk Moth Spinx Moth, etc.

Only thing I can find similar is Raphidioptera - Snakeflies, but at that angle I can't see if your insect has the typical long neck.

I live in East Tennessee, and I've had those in the house before. I just suck them up in the vacuum cleaner. Scary looking bug, but I hate them all once they get in my house.
