Question: I noticed on your yellow-rumped warbler that he seems to be sitting on a deck rail (?). I am wondering what you've got there that lured him so close. My warblers are extremely shy and stay deep in the bushes/trees. Thanks!

Deanie - We've seen the butterbutts sometimes peck at the oatmeal bedding which gets thrown out of the mealworm dish, but I don't really think they eat it much or come to the deck because of it. Actually I think they just follow the Bluebirds around a bit like the House Finches do. :)
