I keep looking at the buds stubborn but there. I look like an idiot insisting it's going to leaf out, but I see signs it will and when you see the first of the 2 pics here, you will see what I mean. I was ready to rip it out and get another tree, but it isn't dead. The pics with the envelope in the background were taken about an hour ago. Here is the trunk pic from a couple days ago, you can barely see the green right below the slight scrape It isn't as noticeble now on the tree. the green is best seen at the bottom of the scrape. When you see those buds on todays pics don't you think it is going to leaf out? I saw my dead one with no buds. I have plenty of weight on me without getting a Walnut tree,

At our house, the word is 'ball'. Means almost anything appropriate to chew. (Toys.) That said, Jack has been taught by Isabelle that keep away is the best game ever. But a Bulldog plays easy, has no stamina and a Lab puppy turns the game into Chess. It took months for him to learn how to communicate with our bulldog but he has mastered the skill. Jack scores something he knows is important to the other members of the family and waves the such score in your face, demonstrating how he has mastered the game. It is keep away, full on. He could have my $80.00 slipper in his mouth, a remote control, Isabelle's favorite ball or even a telephone. It is 'Game on'. This is how she taught him to communicate with her. He gets her ball several times a day so I have to corner him as she is old, has mobility issues and I worry she will over heat. (She will chase him holding her ball until she dies.) He loves every second of the game but I worry she has taught him some very bad habits. Her way of playing has never bothered us but Jack has taken it to a whole new level. I get cold cloths to put on her belly to cool her off. Is your Frenchie getting her vitamins? What are you feeding her/him? I've heard (but don't know for sure) that some dog foods can create pooper scooper dogs... Talk to your Vet.

That's a beatiful doll Jin, your daughter is lucky to recieve such a beatiful gift.I bet she loves her. The first picture is a vase. I paid I think $3 for the vase and $5 for the first doll and $4 for the last one, I thought they were very beatiful. The last doll has roses in her hair and the first one is holding a pail with flowers and stuff and has yellow flowers.

You can look up the breeds of chickens, and they rate them as to whether they're ok for cold climates. I believe all my breeds are. The Barred Rocks, Wyandottes, Sex Links, Easter Eggers and Brahmas. As far as I know they're all good for cold areas. It gets pretty darn cold here in winter. They're coop by sundown is often 40° or less, but I have a flat panel heater on the back wall in there. It's only about 250watts on high, and heats it up about 5-8° more. This winter has been really mild tho. We're in the midst of a warm spell. Could get up to 80° this week! I figured the girls would be lounging around in the sunny spots in the pen today. But they spent most of the day off in a shaded corner all takin' a dirt bath. Goof balls!! Gettin' more eggs again tho!! And, as for the weeds, I actually don't dig up some of them. I let them grow a bit because the chickies love them! I save the dandelion, oxalis, chickweed, spurge, some grasses and a couple of other weeds that I don't know the names of. They go nuts when I throw them in the pen.
