Hi all,

Looks like a great forum. I'm starting to build birdhouses. Starting with the usual Titmouse house. 4"x4" floorplan, 8" ceiling, 1 1/4" hole. I'm putting an indoor perch in the houses. Just a 1/4" dowel protruding 3/4" inside. Has this been done or is it a good idea. I've been putting the perch on the back wall opposite and a little lower than the entrance hole. Would the front wall be better? I even made one house with three perches on the back wall. Sort of a gymnasium for the kids. It's a long way till Spring so I want to make the houses right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
