Different shades of fermented seed?

I am noticeing that after seeds have dried and I am getting ready to store them, that some are very dark brown.

I never gave it a second thought in past years but now wonder. One set I extracted from a Black and Boar were almost black and I thought this was indicative to the type.

Under magnafication some individual seeds are exhibiting those fine "hairs" in huge abundance and some normal.

Of two seperate sets of Prue seeds, one was the beautiful

honey color. The other, smaller and much darker.

Does this have to do with the length of time or amount of fermintation?...........Individual fruit?.....Genetics of a particular plant?........or something I am missing.

Thanks
