I have mostly red oak and maple leaves (large) that fall in my yard. I got a Leafhog for Christmas which is like a leaf blower in reverse, with an attachment that sends them directly into a garbage can as shredded leaves. Then I can just dump them back in the gardens where I want. Using a mulching mower on the driveway works too, but the Leafhog makes the process go faster for me, with a lot lest raking, bending and stooping. Looks alot nicer than full size leaves too, and hopefully as marlingardener mentioned will not blow away as easily. I'm looking forward to not buying mulch anymore - the more mulch I have to buy, the less I can spend on plants! Not a good thing...

She may have to slightly shift her position. I have to during the front wash. I have to shift slightly to the right. My mother has the same Washlet as I do (S300) and I have to do the same on hers. Hers is the elongated model. Mine is round. Monica

CariJo, I have never heard of cutting the chest to embalm. The only thing that I know that they cut is in the neck and leg to get to the arteries. It's just a small cut in both places. In autopsies they usually do a Y cut from each shoulder down through the stomach area. You could probably get access to the embalming papers if you wanted to OR inquire at the coroner's office to see if an autopsy was performed. Do you know where Dan's body was taken immediately after the accident? It's possible and probable that they didn't do a full autopsy, but they may have wanted to check the lungs and that area to see if there was any foreign matter in and around them to rule out any possible foul play. They can tell a lot from this. The stomach contents also tells a lot. They can tell if a body was already dead when it reached the water or if death occured in the water. It's your right to find out exactly what was done. I wish that I could help you during this horrible time for you. I'm so sorry that you are so distressed. Please try not to think of the horrors of what you saw and the things that you are imagining. Dan is perfectly whole and beautiful and happy now. His body is just the shell that held his soul. I know you love it, though. Dan loves you as much as you love him and he wouldn't want you to be so upset. I know that you will aways miss him, but try not to have bad thoughts. I know I'm a good one to talk. I'm the one who started the thread, but I do work on thinking good thoughts instead of bad. Sometimes you just have to throw them out of your head as soon as they come. Dan's soul is beautiful and it is still alive. I don't ever say that Christin and Mom "Died", because I don't believe that the essence of them died. They left us and their souls are still around, alive and as beautiful as they were when they left, and so is Dan's. Dan is with you. You are not alone. I hope that you are feeling better tomorrow. Please check in again. If you want to email me, feel free to any time. Lu

If the crotch is too high, you can make it lower by stitching in the seam a little deeper using a multiple stitch zig zag and cutting off the original stitching. You don't want to stitch it in deeper in the front or the back, but taper it in around the bottom of the curve, trying to keep the shape of the curve about the same....just deeper. I'd do this a little at a time ...maybe 1/4".... until I got it where it was comfortable. Or you might just want to baste it first to see how it fits. The stitch should look like this as it will have sufficient stretch to work with bathing suit material.
