hi Gary, i have purchased from GoSucculent before, it was a few years ago. i had a good experience overall. i actually met Don Nuzzo because i'm in LA and they are down near Escondido and i didn't want to pay for shipping, so we thought we'd make it a nice day trip down there on a saturday. i met Don in a parking lot and he gave me the plants. i still have many of those plants today. he seemed to be a stand up guy. was really passionate about succulents. i have an old phone number for him. i'm sure yours is more recent and accurate. what you described does seem very shady to me, though. sorry i couldn't have been more help. but i did just want to contribute that i had a good experience with them. good luck! Bri.

Internet had this to say about taxes on large lotteries..... Taxes on Large Lottery Winnings Depending on your other income and the amount of your winnings, your federal tax bracket can go as high as 39.6%. Your lottery winnings might also be subject to state income tax. So depending on where you live, your total tax bill could exceed 50%. You don't get any capital gains rate break for lottery winnings, nor is there any income averaging to help lower your tax bill. If you win more than $5,000 in the lottery, 28% must be withheld from your winnings for federal income tax purposes. You can do a google search 'taxes on lottery' to get more info specific to your situation......... ADDING (that) in the US it would all likely be taxable and effectively be taxed at whatever your rate on AGI ends up being...... (Rememeber Oprah audience...the entire value of the cars they were given was taxable...in fact the money they were then given to pay the tax on it was taxable). ------------------------------------------------------------ Oh, BTW...they also said Canada's is $0.00 We had a friend on Price is Right late last year. He won a car. We were all SO EXCITED for him because he was never without a smile even though he was waiting for a kidney transplant. 3 days after winning but before he could pay the taxes and pick up his car, he was in a coma in the hospital and died a few days later. I never did hear whether his parents were able or wanted to get the car.

Kind thing to do. For several years I kept getting mail for a house 1/2 mile away. Different street name but same house number. And of course they'd get mine. It was annoying. I just started writing on it DELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESS! and put it in the mailbox. The postals frequently wouldn't take it. I'd put the flag up but often they'd look at it and think it was delivered right (apparently). Obviously no intelligence test required to deliver mail. So I'd start standing it up right at the edge of the door so they'd see the delivered wrong note and then they'd usually take it. But several times I just said forget it and delivered it myself when it looked important. Finally got a different carrier and things weren't as bad. Still get misdelivered stuff on occasion. Anyway, I'm sure they appreciated your extra effort.
