So, I lived in this condo for 18 years. This window is a South facing window, with a building 15 feet away. EVERY YEAR would come the Christmas dilema... until the year this picture was taken. DH had a really bad motorcycle accident and had no business in the attic dragging down years of stuff... But, this is The Only Window of this size in the whole place. I had one east facing sliding glass door and one east facing kitchen window. I had two smaller South facing windows besides this single one, and I MADE my husband build a weird knock down stand that 'would do' for two months. I So Know about Christmas Trees in The BEST Window, and what to do the rest of the time. Which is why my hoyas never took off until I moved out of this place. (Which also was the HOA Balcony issue for those who remember!) This last year, with both stands and all the orchids, I would have been Hard Pressed to find room for all!!!

Terry, As far as I know, Paula has not yet emailed instructions on how to reach the location of the Spring Fling. She usually does that much closer to the actual date of the event. I suspect she received your e-mail that I forwarded to her and that you are indeed on her mailing list. Let's see if she sees this message and responds to let you know you're on her list. To correct your e-mail address on your member page, go back to the main page of the Oklahoma Forum and scroll down to the bottom of the page. At the very bottom of the page is a green line that includes the Garden Web name and a list of words horizontally across that green area. Near the right side of the green box you'll see the words "Member Pages". Click on those words and they'll take you to another page. On that page is a list of options. I think the one you want will say something like "Edit Preferences....". Click on that to take you to your page so you can correct your email address. If that doesn't work, let me know. No one else can edit your Member Page for you because it is password protected and you don't want to post your password on line. Dawn

I know what Prepaid Legal is. A best friend got 'into' it, thinking it was the most wonderful thing in the world, and that 'everyone' would automatically 'want' to buy it. Being a best friend, she asked me to 'just watch' the video. She said it was really neat! I did just that...watched it, and then told her it was something that 'some' folks may want to pay for every month for the rest of their lives, but I wasn't one of them. Didn't foresee needing an attorney anytime in the next 10-20 years or so. She soon dropped out of it...finding it wasn't the great easy money maker she thought it would be. I think your friend sounds really hooked on it....determined to be one of the few at the top of that pyramid...What it might all boil down to is his worship of the almighty dollar, and not value such 'things' as friends and old friendships. Sounds like he has set himself up for a rude awakening sometime on down the road. His loss. Like Nancy said...all his 'friends(?) are probably all ate up on that PL crapola. Sue
