New gardener and bird watcher.

I've always fed the birds bread and squirrels

daily peanuts.

lately the bird seem to love the peanut as well.

Anyways Ive been noticing a few different types.

Im from Chicago and not sure what the

Majority of the birds are...they are city birds..small light and

brown ones..sparrow ?

Then then bigger black birds with blue heads lings beaks.

pigeons of course.

Now I've been seeing cardinals sneaking down

And grabbing peanuts..which I'd like to see more

What attracts cardinal and other different cool birds?

there is also these green parrots in the city

I seen 6 in a tree making a ton of noise.

I said it green parrots!!!

There's a big Cooper hawk that feasts of pigeons.

all this said...I baught 2 feeders ..one has tiny holes.

one bigger holes

I baught 5 gallon bucket of bird food from home depot

but would like to attract different types..

any help would be great...

I also seen a hummingbird lately zip by me.
